Draw Dumbo, Step by Step

Dumbo's guidelines aren't hard. Just draw two circles, one for the head and another for the body. You will also add the facial guidelines too.

Here you will begin drawing the head followed by the trunk. Don't forget to draw the end part of the trunk which is the nose. Add some wrinkles or creases on the trunk at the base, then add some cheek bumps for his smile.

Okay, before you draw in Dumbo's face, draw his chin and mouth as well as some of the jaw line. When that is done go ahead and draw in Dumbo's eyes and his eyebrows or just brow lines. Sketch in some more crease or fold lines on the trunk and between

We won't be drawing Dumbo's face, instead we will draw in his cute little hat This is a simple object to draw. Start at the base and work your way up. It actually looks like an X-Mas stocking upside down.

Okay, Draw in the big oversized headphones. I love sennheisers headphones so that is what I tried to replicate in this sketch. When the headphones are drawn in, go ahead and draw Dumbo's ruffled collar which is circus themed.

Okay, go ahead and draw in Dumbo's ears which are slouched down. When that is done you can draw in his chubby body and then his legs. Don't forget the feet and toes.

Okay folks. This is the last step. Go ahead and draw in the front arm or leg, then draw the back leg. Don't forget to add the wrinkles and folds on the limbs and then Dumbo's toe nails. Define Dumbo a bit and then erase the mistakes and guides.

That's it, you are all done. Go ahead and color in Dumbo and don't forget to show folks what you have drawn.

Description: Hey people. Welcome back to another lesson made by me, for all of you. Anyways, I don't know how many people know but, there is a remake of Dumbo coming to theaters in 2019 and I have to say it looks pretty good. It also seems as tho they are keeping the story true to it's cartoon film released by Disney. I wanted to have fun with recreating Dumbo, so I went ahead and added a pair of headphones. I also made this a tutorial from a battle that I recently entered into. Hopefully my opponent doesn't beat me. Well, have fun folks drawing Dumbo.
