Cartoon Selfie Drawing Tutorial

Here you will draw in the guidelines and shapes for the girl's figure and head.

Start defining the shape of the girl's face and then draw in her ear and some of the hair line.

We will now use the facial guidelines to draw in the almond shapes of her eyes. Add the lashes, nose an mouth. Then draw the eyebrows. The eyes and mouth should be draw in to create the expression.

Continue with the head and draw in the hairstyle. It should be long, straight and parted. Add the strand lines and you are done so far.

We will now draw in her arched shoulder followed by her arm and hand. The arm is in a pose in a manner that would look like someone holding a camera, phone or iPod to take a picture of themselves.

You will now draw in the other shoulder and arm. Once that is done draw in her hand and her finger should be pushing in her cheek.

Let's draw the rest of her curvy body shape and notice how the rear is like a bubble. Add the dress line and the wide slit on her thigh. This adds a sexy touch to your cartoon selfie girl.

Lastly, draw in your cellphone or whathaveyou. It can be a camera, phone or iPod. Erase the mistakes and guides, then you're done.

Description: I just had to have a little fun and make yet another tutorial on a girl taking a picture of herself because she thinks and believes she is a dime piece. Today, here you will be learning how to draw a selfie or a girl giving herself a selfie, step by step. I do have a tut on a selfie already, but it doesn't really show what girls do before they snap that photo using their cell phone or iPod. Usually the lips are puckered, their hands are in a strange gesture and the pose of their head and body are almost always in the same pose in every other picture that is taken. Anyways, this is a fun cartoon selfie so go ahead and have some fun with it. I will be back with some other lessons so stick around to see what they are.
