Baby Hedgehog Drawing Lesson

Step 1.


First, start by sketching the guidelines for the shape of the hedgehog's body and draw these LIGHTLY so they are erasable in the future!

Step 2.


Then, simply draw the shape of its face!

Step 3.


Next, work on the ears and the prickly definition of its head.

Step 4.


Then, work on the subtle facial features for it. Also draw little scant tear drop lines in sparse areas where his forehead is to convey 'prickly' texture.

Step 5.


Let's work on the hedgehog's body shape, keeping the outside lines prickly looking!

Step 6.


Now, working from hands to feet first, draw the rest of its body.

Step 7.


Lastly, use scant lines to define the 'prickly' fur!

Step 8.


Once everything has been drawn, you should end up with something like this. I hope this was fun for y'all to draw because it was for me!

Description: Man, I have never uploaded a cute lil' hedgehog before here. A few kids on here have suggested I make a couple of Australian/African animals that I have never made for the website. In this wicked cute tutorial, I will show you an easy and cute way on drawing a cute baby hedgehog step by step. I wanted this one to really resemble what these animals look like facing belly up because they are just TOO cute when their soft fluffy fur is revealed in contrast to their prickly back. I used bright colors as well to bring out the maximum cuteness of this animal. If you guys have other baby animal suggestions, leave them in the comments below or in a PM!
