Anime Girl Drawing Lesson

Begin very simply, with some basic guidelines and shapes. There should be two shapes, one for the head and the other for the upper body. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines and then the neck guideline.

Using the head shape you made in step one, go ahead and draw a defined structure of the face. Start with the chin, jawline and cheek.

We will move up a bit and use the facial guidelines to draw in the top portion of her eyelids. They should be thick, bold and a bit feathery looking.

Complete the eyes by drawing the actual shape which is sort of squared in an oblong manner. Color in the pupils solid and then some more shading along the inside edges of the eyes. Create a cheek bump and add blushing. When that is done draw thin eye

This is my favorite part and may be a little complicated for those of you who have trouble drawing anime hair. Start at the top and slowly draw out the shape of the head which is also the hair. Follow the lining down and create these long curls. Sket

Go ahead and sketch out the left shoulder which is also her shirt. This should have creased, folds and wrinkles. Add some detailing and then lightly draw in the collar bones.

You can choose to tweak this part of her body when drawing the breast. I went exaggerated a bit, but you can definitely draw the breasts a lot smaller.

Create the shirt line which is a low cut style shirt. Again, you can choose to draw any style of clothing on your anime girl. Draw in the arms and then add some detailing where needed.

For the last drawing step all you will do is sketch in texture to her clothing. Do this with the sleeves and the torso. Take your time until you are happy with your results. Erase the mistakes and all the guides when done.

Here she is when you are finished. Just color her in and create a nice background.

Description: Hey there folks. Welcome back to another lesson, this time I will be showing you all how to draw an anime girl, step by step. I haven't drawn anime stuff in such a long time, but not including the eyes paid tut I uploaded. I guess you could say that making that anime eyes lesson really inspired me to draw more anime. So, here she is. I know some of the anatomy may be a bit exaggerated, but that's okay because almost all anime is exaggerated when it comes to most anime girls drawings. Well, that's all I have to say. Have fun drawing an anime girl.
