The first thing you need to do is draw the shape of the head and then draw the floppy ears.

Up next, draw the round shaped eyes, followed by the nose and mouth. Notice the small tongue. Add the blush marks on the face and eyebrows as well.

We will now draw the body starting with the front legs and paws. Add the chest hair for that fluffy puppy coat.

Finish this puppy by drawing the back, thigh, paw and tail. Erase the mistakes if you made any because you are done.

That's it, you are ready to color in your lab puppy any shade you like. The colors for labs vary between black, chocolate and yellow.

Description: If there is one breed that so many people have in their homes it's gotta be the Labrador Retriever. Because of this fact, I wanted to make a very simple lesson on drawing a lab puppy, step by step. Labs are adorable, smart and very, very playful. They love their families (as well as others), and they are probably one of the smarter dog breeds out there. Anyways, if you love drawing animals or dogs for that matter I think you will find this lesson interesting. I shall return so stick around.
