How to Draw a Moose

Then what you do is add his back thigh, a simple rounded v shape, and his front upper part of his leg. Move up to the face and make a long snout in the shape of a u and two beady eyes.
3
After you get that down give him a nice full beard and add the bottom parts of his legs as shown above.
4
This is the fun part, if you follow the lining you should be able to make his antlers pretty easy. After you accomplish that define his nose by adding a few lines, This will give the moose detail.

Now draw his ears and the back part of the antlers as shown. Don't forget his stubby tail. After you feel good about your sketch erase all the unwanted lines and prepare to color your moose.

Description: Greetings fellow artist, it is I Dragon_King. Today I am putting up this tutorial out of inspiration. Over the holiday I was up at my relatives house in Canada. As I was there my cousin Mark asked if I wanted to go for a walk with him around the neighborhood (which was surrounded by mostly woods), any how with me being the adventurous type I said sure lets go! As we were walking, he told me to stop because he heard a familiar nose he once heard before. While he had me sitting there like a rock out came this enormous moose. My mouth just dropped. I was frozen I must have been like a dear in front of a set of headlights. Even though I was extremely scared, he was this big beautiful powerful looking creature I’d have ever seen. So that is why I would like to share with you what I experienced. I figure an animal that massive deserves a sketch made in his image. In this tutorial I will show you how to draw a moose with just five simple steps. Of course it took me some time to get it right before I actually made a tutorial out of it, but that is the point, I figure it out first then put it in steps for you all to learn from. A moose may seem intimidating to draw but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy. Well knock yourself out with this one and I hope you have fun.
