How to Draw Vincent Valentine, Final Fantasy

Step 1.

There is no real way to start a step on a human figure other than the way I will show you how to start now. Begin by making your guides and lines until you create a head, torso, hips, neck, and arms.

Step 2.

Vincent's face is almost fully covered. The only parts of his face that is visible is the eyes. Here you will draw out his bandanna which is the whole length of his forehead. Next, draw out the four pieces of hair or bangs that flop down in front of

Step 3.

Sketch in the bandanna folds on his head for the detailing, and then begin sketching out the eyes, and nose. Be sure to define the eyes really well.

Step 4.

Here you will continue to sketch out his hair and as you can see it is parted with a majority to the right. It is long and kind of wavy. Draw in the left side of his hairstyle, and then move to step five.

Step 5.

Before you tackle his clothing that covers his upper body, you will need to sketch out some detailing in his hair. Once that is done go ahead and sketch out his half button up cape. Begin at the neck, and then work your way down the shoulders. While

Step 6.

Sketch out Vincent's arms, and then draw out the left hand which appears to be in a fist. Next, draw in the gloves he wears, and then draw the locking buttons that start at the mid section of the torso, and ends up the neck. Lastly, sketch out the re

Step 7.

Draw in the fingers on the left, and then draw out his gun. The other arm sort of looks mechanical so be sure to make the fingers look bionic.

Step 8.

Sketch out the visible part of the torso, and then draw in the sash around the waist. Continue to draw out the body and as you can see it ripples on the hip area. This shape will actually be his legs or pants.

Step 9.

You are almost done. All you have to do is sketch out the detailing to his metal sash or belt. Once that is done draw in the crotch stitching and then draw a separating line that will make the two legs.

Step 10.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the rest of the cape and add detailing screws to his bionic hand. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 11.

This is what Vincent Valentine looks like now that you are all done. Color him in and add him next to his other Final Fantasy buddies. Thanks guys for viewing this lesson.

Description: I honestly don’t know why I’m on this Final Fantasy character kick. I think it’s because I watched the movie again with my brother and it brought back some cool memories of when I was a goofy kid. Today I will also be teaching you "how to draw Vincent Valentine", step by step. I correlate Vincent with the FFVII movie because he was such a cool looking figure. In the game he was pretty cool as well but I really liked him as a solitary person that only made appearances when necessary. After playing the games and watching the movie, I came to understand Vincent’s story of his existence. From what I gather, he is a genetically enhanced human who used to be guard to Lucercia Crescent, which is the scientist that created Sephiroth. After some time Mr. Valentine became a guinea pig for the Shinra Corporation. This means that he too was experimented on as cells from an alien life form was injected into his blood stream. This is the same stuff that Cloud was infected with. Vincent’s appearance is so dramatic and because of this he is a very popular character. I’m actually going to set the complexity of this lesson on intermediate because there is a lot of detailing involved with his development. Either way I think you will do a great job drawing Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy. I will be back in a jiff with more drawing fun so stay tuned in to see what else I have for ya’ll.
