How to Draw Tooth, Toothfairy, Rise of the Guardians
1
Are you ready to draw Tooth? Good, then lets get started. Begin with a regular circle shape for her head and then sketch in the facial guides.
2
To draw out the shape of Tooth's face all you have to do is carefully draw out a stubby heart shape. Be sure the dip in the center is rounded and deep.
3
You will now start sketching out the actual bird like shape or structure of the rest of her head. This is just a series of feathers that are long, short, and medium length. Make sure that you draw the feathers with body and texture.
4
You will now sketch in more feathers which are smaller then the rest. Next, add some single lined feathers that have oval tips as well as sketch in the feathery detailing to the existing feathers on her head that you drew in the previous step.
5
Now is the time to draw out her eyes. Make the top lid lines thick and or bold like you see here. Color in the pupils, then draw the U shaped nose as well as her very friendly, warm and inviting smile.
6
Sketch out the thickness and length of Tooth's neck, then draw in the shoulders, and torso. You will need to sketch in a bump for her chest.
7
You will now sketch in the wings which at this point is only one wing because that is the only one that is visible. Draw a swoop for the top line of the wing, then add the detailing feathering. Clean up the drawing and you're done.

Description: I know most of you know that I am fond of fairies, and if you don't know now you do. Anyways, here is yet another character that is going to be in the film 'Rise of the Guardians' and she is known as the Toothfairy, but in the film she is known as just 'Tooth'. Today I will be showing you "how to draw Tooth", step by step. She will be voiced by Isla Fisher so that should be fun. Despite not having long fairy style hair or a graceful looking slender body like most fairies do, Tooth is a colorful, kind, beautiful fairy that is a hybrid mix between a human and hummingbird. This explains a lot like how her wings almost seem invisible when she is in flight because they are flapping so fast, and how she has these beautiful colored feathers that covers her whole body from nearly head to toe. What I like about this character design and concept is how she has a small army of mini fairies that are in constant watch over the world twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. They are keeping watch for when a child looses their tooth. Once a child places the tooth under the pillow, Tooth swoops in and replaces the child's tooth with a gift. What most people don't know about the teeth that Tooth collects, is how these teeth hold the most precious childhood memories. She has the collection of teeth in her palace where she can keep a constant guard on them so she can return the memories when they are needed from their recipients most. I love the character design, and because of this I had a lot of fun with drawing Tooth from Rise of the Guardians. I think you will enjoy tackling this lesson too, so let me let you go so you can get busy. Adios people and like always, have fun.
