How to Draw Tomoya Okazaki From Clannad

Begin with the head guide, then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will also need to draw the torso shape as well.

In this second step all you have to do is sketch in the lower portion of his face shape along with the lobe of his ear.

You will now begin sketching out Tomoya's eye shapes using the facial guidelines you made in step one. When drawing out the eyes you have to make the upper lids thicker or darker. Add the nose and lips or mouth, then proceed to step four.

Complete the eyes by drawing the eyeballs, upper lid creases, and then the eyebrows. Since this is a boy the brows should be thin.

The next thing to do is begin sketching out Tomoya's hairstyle which is sort of raggedy, long and pointed. The bangs pass his eyes, and rest on the side of his face.

Let's start drawing the body beginning with his right arm and hand. As you can see I drew the arm raised to his chin, and it's in a fist as his face rests on the jawline.

Sketch out the tee-shirt, then be sure to make the sleeves.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shirt collar which is in a V lined neck. Then add the ruffle on the sleeves, stripes, and bags. Erase your mistakes and you are all done.

That's it, you are finished drawing Tomoya from Clannad. Now you can color him in.

Description: How long has it been since I uploaded tuts on anime characters from shows and manga? A while I know. But today I will fill a couple requests to do characters from two different anime series. To start, I will how you "how to draw Tomoya Okazaki", step by step. Tomoya is from Clannad, and is also the main protagonist of the series. He is a very sweet looking boy that has a face you can trust. He is also a motherless boy due to his mother dying in a car crash when he was young. Tomoya lives with his dad, but they don't get along to well as they always fight. I wanted to really bring out Tomoya's personality with this lesson so the drawing of him is sweet. When you begin drawing Tomoya Okazaki you should be patient and take your time.
