Now you will add the facial guidelines and then the beginning shapes of his cheeks, chest, arms and feet. What you want to do is make sure that you draw the lines in a way that they end up looking plump.

Step 3.
Now in this next step you will start working on his face. Using the guidelines that you drew on the face, make the oval circles for his eyes and then the butt shape for his rabbit nose. Draw a small square for his tooth. You will now start sketching
in the fluffy fur on the right side of his chest. and then begin making the lines for his arms and feet.

You have made it to the forth step and here you will start shaping out Thumper's head and then the large circles over his eye shapes. Make the detailing lines for his puffy cheeks as shown and then draw the rest of the lines for his legs and feet.

Step 5.
When you finish this step you will notice that this rabbit is starting to look like that popular animal from Bambi. What you will do first is draw the shaping of his ears and fluff up the right side of his cheek. Give him some eyeballs and eyelids an
d then detail the mouth by making a lip line. Now you will end this step by fluffing up his fur on the left side of his chest and then add his tail, hands, fingers and toes.

Step 6.
Since this is your last drawing step, you will be erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. Then you will add his other ear and then detail the inside of the right ear. Give him a nose and detail the bridge of his nose and add
a cheek to his smile. You will then give him a line for his belly.

Here he is Thumper. All you have to do now is color him in and that is it. I hope you liked this tutorial on how to draw Thumper from Bambi step by step. I will be back in a bit with two more drawing tutorials.

how to draw bambi characters
Description:
Okay wait, before I put up that other tutorial I was telling you about I have to submit this one first. This next lesson is going to be on how to draw Thumper from Bambi. Now I know many of you know who Thumper is; he is a grayish blue colored rabbit that hangs around Bambi and Flower. As a matter of fact I think Thumper, Bambi, and Flower are all best friends. Thumpers character is portrayed as somewhat of a rebel that often gets tattled tailed on by his younger siblings. He is often being corrected on the proper thing to say and his mother is often heard asking him “what did your father tell you”? And of course little Thumper stands there with his hands behind his back swirling his front foot reciting what it was his father teaches and tells him. Young Bambi is first introduced to Thumper as the “young prince” as his mother is flooded with all the animal visitors from the forest. A popular phrase that was used by Thumper during that particular scene was when Bambi tries to stand for the first time and Thumper says “he’s kinda wobbly”. That is when his mother corrects him to recite what his father tells him which is, “If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin at all”. I love Thumper’s character because he is bold, funny and also caring when it comes to his friends. Not only is he one of the characters in Bambi, he also returns in the second flick Bambi II which is even more cute and funny at the same time. In this tutorial you will have a chance to learn how to draw Thumper from Bambi step by step. The instructions help make this tutorial easy to follow and understand. I will be back with more lessons for you all so stay tuned there is much more in store.
