How to Draw Timon from The Lion King

Step 1.


Start this step with a small circle and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a line for his neck and then another circle shape for his torso. After that add one more connecting line and one more circle for his butt end. Lastly draw the    

Step 2.


Now as you can see you will now add two circles for the eyes and then a line for the smile. Start shaping out the body beginning with the neck and move along down to make more begining lines for the arms, legs, chest and tail. Lines for his fingers a   

Step 3.


You will now draw out the shape of Timon head and then make two dots for his eyes. Make his smile wide and then draw the rest of the lines to finish the outline of his body frame. After you are done proceed onto the next step.

Step 4.


Give him a big round nose and then some teeth. There are two loops behind his head add them in as well. These are his ears. Detail the hands to make the fingers more prominent and then draw the separation line on his belly and on his feet for his toe   

Step 5.


This is your last drawing step and you will detail his face to give him more character. Finish the separation line and then detail his tail and ankle. You can now erase all the guidelines that you drew in step one to prepare Timon for color.

Step 6.

Description: Here he is one of the funniest characters from the Disney movie "The Lion King". I figured I would show you all how to draw Timon since he is such a memorable character from the animated movie. Lets talk a bit about Timon before we learn how to draw him shall we? First off he is as you know a meerkat, but not just any meerkat. Timon has a spunk about him that is hard to ignore. He has the whole world planed out before he even knows how it works. He also thinks that he knows everything and anything as well. I mean if it wasn't for his best friend Pumba the warthog, he wouldn't have any fresh ideas blow up in his mind at all. Timon and Pumba are what you call loners. They travel together, they live together, and they even sleep together. They are as close as two friends can be. Although Timon thinks he is the brains out of the duo, it is Pumba that is almost always correct. For instance, it was Pumba that suggested they should take Simba in and train him to like bugs instead of meat so that he can come in useful one day. It was also Pumba that was right about what the bright dots were in the sky. He answered "they are balls of gas burning millions of miles away", and then Timon said that they were "fire flies". See what I mean? He is absolutely hilarious. Everything that comes out of his mouth is some sort of joke or smart comment which ends up with me having a burst of laughter from it. One thing that will always remain memorable is their motto that they live by "Hakuna Matata”, which of course means “no worries”. They teach Simba to live by this same motto but even though he does, he can’t help but feel guilty for his father’s death. Anyway Timon is a real bright comedic character in the film.
