How to Draw Tempest Shadow from My Little Pony

Step 1.


Hey there people, begin by drawing the guides and shapes to form Tempest's body frame.

Step 2.


Using the guides you made in step one, you can begin to draw out the shape and structure of Tempest's head, muzzle and ear. Also, draw in the horn and as you can see its broken so jagged edges are needed.

Step 3.


Next, draw in the one almond shape eye along with her spiked mane. The mane should be full. Add the lashes and the upper lid should be thicker than the entire eye lining.

Step 4.


We will now draw the shape of the neck and with the neck comes a collar.

Step 5.


You can now draw the shapes of the shoulder shapes and then draw the shapes of the legs along with the suit lines on the legs.

Step 6.


Tackle the mid section as well as the rear end. Add the detailing to create the uniform or suit.

Step 7.


To finish the rest of Tempest Shadow's body, all you have to do is draw in the back legs.

Step 8.


Now you can draw the full arched tail and the slash marks on the hip or thigh which is as you know a cutie mark.

Step 9.


Lastly, draw the "horse shoes"...lol. When you're done, erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 10.


That's it folks. You are all done. Now you can color in Tempest Shadow from the new MLP movie.

Description: Hello again people. For those of you who are hardcore MLP fans like I am, I think you know that today was the release day of 'My Little Pony: The Movie' and because of this I felt inspired to do a lesson on the main villain called Tempest Shadow. So, here is my version on how to draw Tempest, step by step from the new MLP movie. She was super fun to draw and I really do think that a lot of you will have fun with this lesson, or at least I hope ya'll do. She isn't too difficult to recreate, but if you are a novice you may want to sit back and turn up your patience meter. Anyways, enjoy folks and if you happened to be one of the lucky ones who actually went out to see the movie today, let me know what you thought of it since I have not yet went to see it.
