How to Draw Su from Shugo Chara

Step 1.


Make a large circle for the head and then a tear drop shape for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Step 2.


Instead of drawing the face shape first, let's get the bangs done. Do this by drawing four thick strands that should be long and pointed.

Step 3.


Define the shape of the head and then draw the long curls. At the top side of Su's head draw in her clover.

Step 4.


Now you can draw Su's face shape along with her bonnet.

Step 5.


We will now use the facial guidelines to draw in Su's face. her eyes are very simple, just regular circles. Then draw in the mouth and happy eyebrows.

Step 6.


Here you will draw the left side of her body, then draw in the bottom of the skirt which is thick, ruffled and pleated.

Step 7.


Simply draw the puffy sleeves, then add more definition to her pleated ruffles.

Step 8.


Add the slip skirt under her ruffled dress and be sure to make the small cloud like lining. We will then draw the small arm and tiny hand to complete this step.

Step 9.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the legs and then draw laced up shoes. Erase your mistakes and clear up all the guidelines and shapes you made in step one.

Step 10.


Look how cute Su is. All she needs is color to bring her caring self to life.
