How to Draw Shugo Chara

Step 1.


Since the view of Amu Hinamori is sort of from the top view your guidelines and shapes may look a bit funny. Start with a circle for her head and then draw in the facial guidelines. You will then draw the boxy shape of her torso and then the outlined   

Step 2.


Now you will start sketching out the beginning lines that will later make up her pretty hair style. Start sketching out the bangs, and the sides of her hairdo. Once that is done you can then draw the other half of her left arms, and the shapes for he   

Step 3.


Now you can finish sketching out her hair style as you see here and be sure that you draw her hair to be straight. Once that is done draw the side tail to the right of her head. Now draw Amu's eyes, nose and excited looking mouth. Once that is done y   

Step 4.


Finish sketching out the jacket and then draw in the shirt. Give Amu a belt and then add some detailing and definition. Don't forget to draw the tie on her collar too.

Step 5.


You are almost done with this tutorial and what needs to be done next is the sketching of the ruffled skirt. After you have drawn out her skirt, you can then add the shirt ends as you see here. Next draw the shape of her legs and now you are ready to   

Step 6.


Easy as 1, 2, 3. Finish off this character by sketch out the style of her leg warmers which happen to look too big for her legs. When that is done draw her feet and or shoes, and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step    

Step 7.

Description: This next character that I am about to submit was a request from two weeks ago. At first, I was going to do this lesson last week, but then I got so caught up in drawing other stuff that I was getting multiple requests on. So, two days ago I decided that it was the right time to sketch out this anime/manga character that people where so eager to learn. Now, without further ado I will be teaching you "how to draw Shugo Chara step by step”. Of course I know that the girl in this lesson is not Shugo Chara, in fact her name is Amu Hinamori, and she is the main character of this manga series. The story is centered around this young girl that happens to be in elementary school. The English name for this series is “My Guardian Characters”. Amu is a young girl that everyone loves. They refer to her as cool and spicy. The only problem with that is Amu wants to be reborn as a different person that is outgoing and less shy. So, on the day before her life change she makes a wish. The very next morning she finds three very colorful eggs that later hatch into three guardians named Ran, Miki, and Su. The manga series seems to be a very interesting story, and to have such a young girl to be the heroine is also pretty cool. Amu is a very pretty manga character that has short pink hair worn with a side tail.
