How to Draw Ran from Shugo Chara

Step 1.


Make the large shape for the head, then draw the torso guide. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then the arms.

Step 2.


To start, sketch out Ran's face shape. You will then draw the thick square chunks for the bangs, then add some hair on the side.

Step 3.


Draw the hat lid, then draw a large flat style heart on the side of her hat. Add the trim at the base of the lid, then proceed to step four.

Step 4.


Are you ready to draw the perfect shaped circles for Ran's face, then draw the wide open mouth. Draw the eyebrows and glare marks inside the pupils, then you are basically done with this step.

Step 5.


Simply draw the ponytail, and add detailing to the hair strands too.

Step 6.


To draw a collar for her clothing you will simply just draw the handkerchief that she has wrapped around her neck. Detail the handkerchief, then you are ready for step seven.

Step 7.


Up next, we will draw the pleated skirt part to Ran's dress, then add the trim line at the base of the ruffles.

Step 8.


Here all you have to do is draw in her straight lined arms, then draw the base of the pompoms.

Step 9.


finish the roughly drawn pompoms, then add some cute litter hearts to the pompom bushes.

Step 10.


Are you ready to finish drawing Ran? If you are all you have to do is draw the leg shapes, then draw in the shoes and socks or leggings. Erase all those mistakes and the guidelines and shapes you made in step one.

Step 11.

Description: For those of you who follow the Shugo Chara series I have a lesson for you. Up next, we will have some fun as we tackle the task of drawing Ran from Shugo Chara. Ran is actually the first Guardian Character that hatched for Amu Hinamori. She is supposed to represent the athletic and honest side of Amu's desires. Other Guardian Characters that belong to Ran's group is Miki, Su, and Dia. I am only a little familiar with Shugo Chara, but I'm really familiar with drawing Shugo Chara characters like Ran.
