How to Draw Sosuke from Ponyo

Draw the circle shape for Sosuke's head and add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the body's lines of motion as you see here which is basically the frame for your characters pose.

You will now draw the front hair line and then draw the shapes of his eyebrows, eyes, and eyeballs. Color in his pupils and then draw a tiny looking nose and his friendly smile.

For step three you yo draw out the shape of his face as you see here and then draw the shape of the ears, and the sides of his head to show that his hair is buzzed cut. Next draw a neck shape and then draw the beginning lines for his shoulders.

This is where the fun starts. You will continue to draw out the entire hairdo for Sosuke which looks a bot messy. After that you can draw out the rest of his arms and then draw the hands. Sketch out the shape of his toy boat under his left pit, and t

Draw out the shape and style of Sosuke's shorts and then draw out the legs and feet. After you have done this you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Description: Well here is the second character from the movie Ponyo and he is wicked cute. This character is the one that found Ponyo and gave the goldfish her name. So, like I mentioned in the previous lesson on Ponyo, I will be showing you "how to draw Sōsuke step by step". Sōsuke is a five year old boy that lives in a small fishing community in a house on a cliff by the sea. His mother’s name is Lisa and she is often cheering up her son and she allowed Sōsuke to keep his pet goldfish. It was the help from Ponyo’s sisters that enabled her to turn human and basically experience all that the world above her ocean floor had to offer. Like I said in the previous tutorial, there is not a whole lot to write about because I still haven’t seen the movie. All I can tell you is what I know from watching some sneak peek previews and movie trailers. I do know that Ponyo wines up falling in love with young Sōsuke and her father stays in a constant mission to bring his daughter back to the sea. In order to keep Ponyo above ground, Sōsuke would have to pass a very important test,and only then will his beloved Ponyo spend the rest of her days as a human on earth while peace and harmony is restored to the world.
