Step 1.

Make the shape of a nut of some sorts like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

Begin forming the actual structure of the face and head like so, then proceed to step three.

Step 3.

Draw and color in Shrek's thick dark eyebrows. Next, draw the very wide shaped nose like so, then draw in the mouth line which is a single smile.

Step 4.

Using the facial guidelines you will have to draw out his eyes, color in the pupils, then draw the wrinkles or bags under the eyes.

Step 5.

All you will have to do here is sketch in all the texture definition on the skin which is the forehead, nose, and face wrinkles. Add the bottom lip, then proceed to step six.

Step 6.

Okay, so now let's draw in Shrek's horn like ears like so, then draw the collar line of his shirt.

Step 7.

Let's finish off Shrek by drawing the rest of his shirt, then add some wrinkles or crease lines. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

Step 8.

This is Shrek when you are finished. Now color him in then all is set. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on drawing Shrek easy.
