How to Draw Sembene From Penny Dreadful

Step 1.


Again, like you did with the other tuts on Penny Dreadful character, start by drawing the head and body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and proceed to step two.

Step 2.


Define the shape of the face and then draw the hair on his head. Incorporate the ear shape too.

Step 3.


We will draw in Sembene's face starting with the thick eyebrows and then the eyes. Color in the eyebrows and add a face which is the mouth, forehead creases and inner ear detailing.

Step 4.


Add the shoulders and arms, then draw the V lining to the bottom of the shirt.

Step 5.


Add the shirt collar and then add the sleeve detailing. Don't forget to add the buttons too.

Step 6.


Lastly, draw the legs and feet then draw in his hands which are clutched in fists. Erase your mistakes and guidelines then you are all done.

Step 7.


Here is the line art. Add some color and you will have yourself a finished drawing on another Penny Dreadful character.

Description: So the last character that I will upload from the Penny Dread series is Sembene. He is the close friend and confidant to Sir Malcolm Murray. In real life he has some scars on the sides of his face or cheeks and he also wears a heavy trench coat. This is a very series character from the series and he is also a protector to Sir Malcolm as well. I think this is going to be one of the more easier lessons to tackle and finish so go ahead and have fun learning how to draw Sembene from Penny Dreadful.
