How to Draw Ethan Chandlier From Penny Dreadful

Step 1.

We will begin with drawing two guide shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Next, sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Define the shape of Ethan's face like so and then draw in the ear and side burn.

We will now draw in the hat and then some of the hair. Add some detailing inside the ears and than move to step four.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the thick eyebrows, large eyes and then draw and color in a mustache, mouth and beard.

We will now draw in the long trench coat and then draw in the hand. Add some lining to the jacket as well.

All you have to do here is draw in the crotch and then the legs. You can also draw the small feet too.

Finish Ethan off by drawing his vest, belt and seam lines on the pants and sleeve. Also add some buttons. Erase your mistakes and you are all done.

Here is the line art when you are all done. Color in Ethan to bring this character from Penny Dreadful to life.
