How to Draw The Creature From Penny Dreadful

Step 1.


Again, make two shapes one for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and body guides.

Step 2.


Define the shape of Creature's face and then draw the parted hair line.

Step 3.


Use the facial guidelines to draw in the top parts of the eyes like so.

Step 4.


Draw and color in the eyebrows and then draw the shapes of the eyes. Add the scars on the eye and then draw the top lip and color it in. Add a dimple in the chin too.

Step 5.


We will now draw the body starting with the flaps for the jacket and then draw the rest of his coat.

Step 6.


Add the legs and feet, then draw the hands and pocket on the jacket.

Step 7.


Lastly, draw the rest of the hairstyle which is long and straight and then add the part on the top of his head.

Step 8.


Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color in the Creature and show people what you have just done.

For those of you who follow the show you should be familiar with this character. He is the creation of Victor Frankenstein or his very first human creation. The Creature was made up of different parts of other men and this includes flesh, limbs, hair and what have you. Like the original Frankenstein, Creature has visible scars all over his face and body and the only thing that he wants in his life is to find love or have someone to love just like him.
