How to Draw Ruby from Steven Universe

Step 1.


Begin with two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the leg guides.

Step 2.


We will now draw in Ruby's hair which is short and straight lined.

Step 3.


Draw in the shape of Ruby's face and then draw the tail end of her bandanna. Add the eyes, then draw the nose and mouth.

Step 4.


Up next, draw the shoulders and arms. Notice that she is in a tough pose. Her knuckles are clashes up towards one another as you can see here.

Step 5.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the hips, legs and feet. Add the lining for the pants and you are all done. Erase your mistakes and all the guidelines.

Step 6.


Here is the line art for Ruby when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color her in.
