How to Draw Jasper from Steven Universe

Step 1.


Make the basic guides and shapes for Jasper.

Step 2.


Using the head guide define the shape of her face like so, and then draw in her muscular shaped neck. You will end this step by drawing the thick bangs.

Step 3.


We will now draw in the face starting with the eyebrows, nose and mouth.

Step 4.


Jasper has a very muscular body so be sure when you draw the shoulders and arms next, they are bulky instead of thin.

Step 5.


Draw in Jasper's large, strong looking hands which are in a fist pose.

Step 6.


Then get the outline of her body drawn out which is the torso, waist, hips, thighs and legs. Don't forget those shoes or feet too.

Step 7.


Now that the body outline is done you can draw in the big hair which is long, bushy and straight.

Step 8.


Lastly, create the clothes by drawing the crisscross marks on the sleeves, top and for the boots/pants. Erase the guidelines and shapes then you are all done.

Step 9.


Here is your line art now that you are done. All you have to do now is color in the drawing.

This next lesson was requested a few times as I received numerous emails asking me if I could make a tutorial on how to draw Jasper from Steven Universe, step by step. Despite what Jasper looks like, this character is actually a girl and she is not a force to be reckoned with. As of right now she is being held behind bars at Earth's ocean by a gem named Lapis Lazuli. Drawing Jasper from Steven Universe should be just as easy or hard as some of the other characters from the series. In the end I think you will have fun and enjoy the tutorial.
