How to Draw Red Eyes Black Dragon

Step 1.

Okay, this first step looks a bit messy like you see here, but it all comes together in later steps. Start by making a circle for the dragon's head, and then draw a connecting line for the neck that also goes to a shield like shape for the torso or b

Step 2.

Now you can start drawing out the front part of the dragon's head, and then draw out the screaming mouth at the same time just like you see here. All you have to do is take your time and you'll be fine.

Step 3.

Finish drawing out the head and jaw, and then begin sketching out the frilled spikes around the head like so. You need to also incorporate the shape of the eye with the same frilled lines, and then draw in a nostril hole too.

Step 4.

All you have to do here is draw out the tongue, and then draw in the sharp teeth that fills the gum line. Be sure that each tooth is uniform in shape, and then move to step five.

Step 5.

Alright, now it's time to start drawing out the neck which is in the form of a layered pattern. Once you get to the end, draw out a V like collar or shoulder area like so, and then move onto step six.

Step 6.

I know this looks a bit weird right now, but you will need to draw out more of the dragon's body which also appear to be in layers. There is a lot of sharp edges and points so be sure to draw the layers of the body correctly.

Step 7.

Draw out the dragon's arms and then the claws the same way you see it done here. Once that is done you can begin adding some detailing to the chest plates like so, and then move to step eight. I know there are a lot of steps, but it's all worth the w

Step 8.

Here is where you will begin drawing out the cropped legs, and then draw out the feet and claws that are on each foot. Again, take your time and everything will be fine.

Step 9.

Guess what guys? You are almost done with this tutorial. All you need to do now is draw out the very large sharp looking tail that also has the same pattern design as the neck. The tail should be drawn layer at a time until you get to the very tip.

Step 10.

Finally the last drawing step. Now all you have to do is draw out both wings, but be sure to draw in the tips to be curved, pointed, and fierce looking. You will also need to erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 11.

Now this is what you call a mean looking dragon. Color in Red Eyes Black Dragon to it's dark black color. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, be sure to draw this Yu-Gi-Oh card character next to it's counter part, Blue Eyes White Dragon.

Description: I have a surprise for all you die hard Yu-Gi-Oh fans out there. This lesson is going to be on another dragon from the card game. I decided to make this particular figure because I know how much the dragon card series is popular. This lesson will teach you "how to draw Red Eyes Black Dragon", step by step. This dark dragon is usually seen alongside Blue Eyes White Dragon. As some of you fans know Joey Wheeler owns the Red Eyes Black Dragon card, and it also happens to be one of his strongest cards. Before Joey obtained the card, it belonged to Rex Raptor. Now because he made a bet against his card, he wound up losing one of the best cards of the deck. I personally don’t know too much about Yu-Gi-Oh’s Red Eyes Black Dragon, but my fifteen year old brother knows quite a bit about a lot of the card characters from the popular game and animated series. Anyways, this dragon was a little challenging because of the body’s position and the large wide open mouth that is filled with sharp piercing teeth. The tutorial may be complicated for some, but with enough practice you will be able to "draw Red Eyes Black Dragon" too. Enjoy the tutorial guys and remember to leave a comment and rate the lesson because it lets me know what you think. Adios people, and come back soon.
