How to Draw Rabbits for Kids

Artist: Dawn / November 9, 2011

Step 1.

Make two circles one larger than the other, and then draw in the body lines.

Step 2.

Now you will begin sketching out the shapes of the head structure and try to incorporate the snouts. Draw in the bunny ears, and notice how the rabbit to the left has ears like a dwarf bunny.

Step 3.

Color in the circular eyes like so, and then a nose on the dwarf rabbit. Draw in the nose lining like so, and then sketch in some whiskers.

Step 4.

Drawing the bodies is going to be simple because they are simply lines and arches. Draw the back of the larger rabbit as well as the hing leg and foot. Next, draw the small bunny's butt, legs and feet then move to step five.

Step 5.

Finish sketching out the body as well as the paws and then draw in the cotton ball like like tails. Erase the mistakes and guides you made along the way to clean up the drawing to perfection.

Step 6.

The line art should look like the one you see here. Now all you have to is color in your works. I hope you all enjoyed drawing rabbits for kids.
