How to Draw Nightmare Moon, Nightmare Moon

Easy enough, draw an oval shape for Nightmare's head, as well as a similar shape for her torso. Finish this off by drawing in the guidelines for her front wing.

Now we're going into detail! Start defining her head shape. Add in her horn, her mouth, as well as her two triangular ears. Finish this step by drawing in her eye.

Start drawing in Midnight's neck. After that, start sketching in her mask, which goes around her eye, and behind her head. Finish it off by drawing the v-neck armor thing on her chest.

Remember how we did that wing guideline? Well, now all you need to do is add in the feathers onto her wing! Start off the back leg, and move onto step 5.

We started her armor, right? Finish that using the circular guide as a placement, and finish shaping her leg.

This step is all about doing the back leg that's hidden behind the one you just drew. See it? It's the same exact shape as the one in front of it. Take a close look at the hoof. Draw the same design on both hooves.

In this step you're drawing out most of the two front legs. The one that is placed firmly on the ground has almost the same design as the other two back legs. The front one, which is held up, has it's armor slightly curved in the next step. Be sure t

Almost done! Finish up the uppermost leg with the curved armor. I told you it was going to be curved, no? Anyways, finish drawing in the back wing, and move onto the last step.

This was probably the most fun step. Draw in Nightmare's mane, starting from the top, and drawing down. The same goes for the tail. It doesn't have to be drawn exactly the same was as I drew it, mainly because it has that flow-y feel to it. Clean up

Description: Well, I was looking through the Princess Luna tutorial, and I saw this totally random request for Nightmare Moon. I don't know if this was filled yet, but here it is! This took me a solid 4-5 hours on the computer, but this has to be my best tutorial yet! I was so tired when I uploaded this, it was almost midnight. Ehehe, get it? I hope you have as much fun drawing Nightmare Moon as I did!
