Step 1.
Here you will begin drawing out the shapes and guidelines. Start with a head guide, then draw out the shape of her body. Add the neck line then sketch in the facial guide.

Step 2.
We will now start drawing out the shape of the Queen's face along with her big eyes. When you so this you will also need to draw out the crooked horn that she has in the center of her forehead. The horn looks more like a deformed branch. Draw in the
ears, then add the mouth and nostrils.

Step 3.
Okay, continue to draw in the eyes by making the eyeballs and pupils. Next, add detailing to her horn, then draw in the long, straight stringy looking mane. You will also need to draw in her crown too which is limp looking.

Step 4.
Queen Chrysalis has a very slender body so be sure to draw her body in that manner. Start with her long thin neck and chest like so, followed by her long limbs and hooves. This pony has some notches and holes in the lower parts of her legs so be sure
to add those when needed.

Step 5.
The next thing we will need to do is draw out the rest of the body as well as her stiff looking broken down wing. Draw the hind legs very slender, and be sure to include those notches at the bottom of her back hooves.

Lastly, draw some holes on her wings, then draw the long flat looking tail that seems to drag on the floor. You will also need to draw more holes on her hind legs, as well as the detailing to her thin body. Erase your mistakes before completing this
step.

Here is Queen Chrysalis when you are all done. Now you can color her in to finish her off.

Description:
Here is one evil pony that I wouldn't want to cross any time in my life. She is a dark soul that has nothing but hatred for the My Little Pony gang. I was asked to make a lesson based on Queen Chrysalis, so here it is. Today I will be showing you "
how to draw Queen Chrysalis
", step by step from the MLP series. I'm pretty sure she made her first debut in the twenty fifth episode called 'A Canterlot Wedding' which was broken up in two parts. She is the main antagonist in the episodes, and her main goal is to cast a spell over Shining Armor so he can no longer protect the city. Originally Queen Chrysalis was called queen of challenges when she was first created. But as time went on she goes by the name she has now, which I think suits her well. One of the things that the evil Queen will do is shape shift into other ponies like she did in Canterlot Wedding when she impersonated Princess Candance. Even though she is not the friendliest pony in the series, she is still very cool to recreate. I just know that a lot of you MLP fans will enjoy drawing Queen Chrysalis because I know I did. I will return with a dragon tut so stay tuned in to Dragoart.com.
