How to Draw Mahito Maki, The Boy and the Heron

Go ahead and draw out the guidelines and shapes for young Mahito.

Here you will draw out the shape of his face along with the shapes of his ears.

Next, add detailing inside the ears and draw in the bangs that frame his face. He has shaved sides on his head so don't forget the dotting.

Complete the head shape and then draw out the eyebrows, shapes of his eyes, pupils, nose and mouth.

We will now draw the collar for his shirt and then the outer shape for the arms and shoulders.

For the last drawing step, you will draw in the remainder of the shirt detailing like the sleeves, pockets, and buttons. Erase the mistakes and guide to clean up the drawing.

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can have fun coloring it in.

Description: Hey guys. Welcome back to another one of my lessons. Today I will show you how to draw Mahito Maki, step by step. He is the main character in The Bot and the Heron. I guess it's a big movie written by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. Anyways, Robert Pattinson is the voice for the other main character, the heron and I guess he is the big rave because that is all anyone is talking about.
