How to Draw Lovers, Lovers

First, let's begin with the guidelines for our ever so sweet couple, which are side by side forming a heart, the perfect love! You'll want to draw circles very similar in size so you'll draw heads that are proportionate for both female and male chara

We'll begin with the female face first, which is pointed upwards towards the male face; this emphasizes the height of the male more accurately and romantically (like in the movies). Anyways, you'll want to keep the form of the girls face as soft as p

Then, to complete the face, add the lashes and the mouth as well as brow.

Well start sketching the outsides of her hair then move onwards to the individual details that detail the inside. Take your time and make sure to use varied line weights.

Now, we'll finish the woman off by drawing the shoulders and arm. Don't forget, her features are softer than the male's features, which are angular and bold.

Ok, let's begin the facial structure for the male leaning in on the female character. In this style. male characters have very sharp and angular features. Notice how the shapes of the face are very different than the female's?

Let's sketch the facials for this character! Notice how they are thinner and less bold as the woman's?

Because I made this character look similar to Edward from Twilight, you'll want to sketch the hair nice and fluffed outwards. This will ad a dynamic and interesting look for the couple. Again, use the same technique to detail inside of his hair.

Let's move our attention to sketching the shoulders and back for this character. He will be enclosing on the woman, making this seem to form a heart more.

Lastly, sketch the finishing details you may have left over in the tut. Pay close attention to how the details make something look more interesting.

With further work into the drawing like line cleanup, inking, erasing, you should have something similar to this. Go ahead and challenge yourself to color out your drawing with a completed background. I hope you've enjoyed this lesson, peace out!

Description: Okay guys I know many of you are looking through the front page and seeing some real awesome lessons that you are following today. I have more in store for you because right now I am going to show you how to draw lovers, step by step. Believe it or not, but figuring out an idea concept for two lovers was pretty hard. After thinking long and hard I finally came up with a good concept that I think is going to be easy for everyone to draw. I will probably come back to this description later, but for now you can have fun knowing that you will draw lovers in a very simple and fun manner. Go ahead and get busy as I will return in a bit with more drawing fun.
