Description: So, I've heard there's a new movie coming out called “the Hunger Games” and it's also a book series. It's about two young champions, a man and woman to be trained in the art of survival to fight to the death. This is based on the epic novel series by Suzanne Collins. To be quite frank, this series reminds me TOO much of the 2008 film “Death Race” which is about inmates that are champions to race to the death. It's so much like the video game “Twisted Metal” (one of my favorites) but it has epic story line and fun action. I would consider either playing “Twisted Metal” and watching “Death Race” if you've haven't already. Anyways, I had so much fun painting this artwork of Katniss Everdeen, and I tried to imitate the style of the reference image. The line art should be very easy for you work in your own hands, but also, take note that further shading skills is required to result like the preview image above. Now, I hope all you avid Hunger Games fans enjoy this tutorial, now quit buggin' me ;) Thanks for viewing and stay tuned for more fun tuts and requests!
