We will start this tutorial by making the head shape and neck. You will be sketching out the profile of Lavi's face. You will then begin drawing the bandanna that slightly covers his eyes, the rest of the shape for his jaw-line, then sketch out the c

Here is a simple way to draw Lavi's bandanna. Make the outlined shape of a boomerang like so, then begin sketching in the seam lines, trim, and snake like scaly pattern.

Now let's begin. Draw a circle followed by some facial guidelines.

Sketch out the shape of Lavi's face like so, then draw in the bandanna and ear.

Instead of an eye, you will draw an eye patch. Draw in the bangs, then the nose, and mouth.

Lavi only has one eye patch which means you will have to draw out the other eye. The lining should be bold, thick and dark. Add the tongue inside the mouth, then detail in the ear and on the upper lip.

It's now time to draw in Lavi's hairstyle which is full of chunks and points. Add detailing and be sure to have some small bangs parted hanging on the bandanna.

Draw the neck, then sketch out the top part of the coat that he wears which looks like a thick scarf but isn't. Add some folds and creases before you go.

Draw in a cool background which is his arm, followed by the rest of the cloak or jacket he wears. Sketch in the rest of the detailing too for added texture to your drawing. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

Description: I don't know where to start or how to begin. I'm really into D. Gray-man and so because of that I will begin my day by uploading "how to draw Lavi", step by step. Lavi is one of my favorite characters because he is what you call mysterious and troubling to read. This is because you can never get a shred of seriousness from him since he is training to be a Bookman. The only time you know when he is dead on is when he is performing an exorcism. Lavi is also a member of the Black Order. His cool style sort of reminds me of one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. I had a lot of fun with this tut, and hopefully you will too.
