How to Draw Lenalee

Step 1.


Let us begin by making two shapes, one for the head and another for the torso. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Step 2.


Define the shape of the face like so, then sketch out some of her hair which is the pointed bangs and sides of her hair.

Step 3.


We will get started with drawing the shapes of the eyes, then draw the eyebrows, nose and mouth.

Step 4.


Let's add her neck shape, then draw the high stiff collar along with the shoulders, torso, and breast.

Step 5.


Continue to draw the shape of her upper body which also completes the breast, back, and even some of her hips. Add the trimming on her jacket or shirt, then move to step six.

Step 6.


Continue to draw her hair by drawing one of her ponytails from her pigtail hairstyle. The strands should be chunky and long.

Step 7.


Draw in her other ponytail, then you are done with drawing Lenalee's hair.

Step 8.


To finish Lenalee off, just draw in the arms and patches on her sleeve. Add a button and that's it. Erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 9.


Here is the line art now that you are all done. Color her in and show people who you just drew.

Gray Man and they are absolutely hooked on the series. Like a lot of female lead characters, Lenalee is a very kind, caring and nourishing gal that has a lot of love for people she considers her family. Lenalee is an Exorcist that works for the Black Order in the European Branch. Anyways, I drew Lenalee with her long hair but I know her new look has short hair.
