How to Draw Fish Bones

1

Begin with an arched dash for the top of the fish's back.

2

Next, draw in the skull for the fish's head like so. Notice that the mouth is wide open.

3

We will fill in the mouth with some sharp teeth like so, then draw in a eye cavity or socket space.

4

Even fins have bones so you will draw in the pointed, sharp dorsal fins on the fish's back.

5

Here we will add the tail bones. Notice how the ends are pointed and sharp looking.

6

Before you finish this drawing, you will need to draw in the pectoral bones.

7

Lastly, draw in the rib bones like so, and when you do this make sure they are thick and colored in. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

8

That's it, you are all done. Now you can add some color if you choose, or leave the drawing black and white.

Description: I will take things on a different turn today and upload some lessons on neat tattoo art. I will start with this one on how to draw fish bones, step by step. Over the years I have done a lot of skeletal lessons but none on a fish. The fish you see here can be of a piranha or other species that has a mouth full of sharp teeth. This would make a great tattoo for someone who fishes for a living or hobby, or for someone who loves all sorts of skeleton style art. Animal skeletons can be just as cool as human skulls so why not make one on a fish. I do hope you enjoy this tut, I will return to upload more lessons for you all.
