How To Draw DMX
1
Let's get started on DMX! Start by sketching out some basic construction lines such as these. Use a 2H or harder pencil and draw very lightly. The lines don't have to be perfect since they are just guides, but be sure to include the crisscross constr

Ordinarily I would suggest drawing the eyes first, but we're going to have him wearing sunglasses so it's best to first draw the nose in this case. Be sure that it aligns with the center vertical guide line. DMX's nose is rounded on the tip, and he h

Next, draw his closed mouth. Be sure that the mouth is half way between the nose and chin. The lower lip should be larger than the upper lip. Also draw some thin wrinkles and creases on the lips as well as around the mouth and above the upper lip.
4
Draw the contours of his face. DMX has very chiseled features. Strong chin, wide jaw, and high cheek bones.

From this perspective, his ears should rest somewhat low on his head. The top of the ears should rest a little ways below the horizontal eye line. The bottoms of the ears should alight with the upper lip. Give him a large, square shaped diamond earri

Now we can finally add the sunglasses. Be sure that both sides of the sunglasses are identical. Don't forget to draw the arms of the glasses resting above the ears.

Let's draw the top of his shaved head. Notice how it is not a perfect half circle, but that it has a slight point to the top of it. Nobody's skull is perfectly round.

Draw his neck, which should be as wide as his head. Notice how the neck lines are not perfectly straight up and down, but they have curved lines, giving the neck shape and form. Be sure to draw a few vertical lines to suggest muscles and an Adam's ap

If you'd like, you can give him a large chain necklace hanging around his neck. Take your time drawing each individual link looping through one another.
10
Draw him wearing an open leather jacket. Draw a wide collar with several horizontal wrinkles on it, mainly protruding from behind the neck. Draw a button on one side of the collar with an button slit on the opposite collar. Draw a few vertical crease
11
Go back to his face and draw a thin beard. The whiskers should not be long, so take your time drawing each individual one. The goatee should wrap around the mouth and cover the chin. A small, thick patch of whiskers should be visible directly beneath

Now that we've finished penciling the image, we can move on to inks. Use either Micron markers, or a brush and India ink to do your inking. Carefully go over each line with patience and be sure not to ink any guide lines. When the ink has totally dri

You can add a greater sense of depth to the image by giving it shadow. Use either a thick felt tip marker, or a brush and ink to do your shading. Establish your light source and black out the opposite side of the figure. The areas of heaviest shadow
