How to Draw Chihiro
1
The first step always starts off the same, drawing guidelines and shapes to form a workable frame for your character whether it be an animal, person, or another human figure. Start with a head shape, and then from there draw in the guidelines for the

Here you will start drawing out the lower part of her jaw like so, and then begin the lining for the eyes.

Okay, now you can start sketching out her hair starting with the sharp angled bangs as well as the hair that falls down the sides of her face. When that is done, draw out her eyeballs, and then draw in her ear.
6
Now you will begin drawing out her clothing but first, draw the shape of her neck and then begin starting the collar. Once that is drawn, you can then sketch out the torso outline of her body like so.
8
Now you will draw out the wrinkles, folds and creases on her sleeve as well as her straps. Take your time so you can end up with a neatly drawn character.
10
Now let's finish her off. All you have to do is draw out the bow that is attached to her back, and then erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Okay guys, as you know I already submitted this very same tutorial but in video form. Chihiro is a character that was requested by a member, and for a long time I never fulfilled the request. It's not because I didn't want to, I just plain old forgot. It came to me that this Japanese manga figure was requested before when I received yet another request to do her and so I finally did. This step by step tutorial was supposed to go up first, but for some reason I submitted the video lesson instead. I'm sure you all know who this ten year old female figure is from Spirited Away. It’s based on the lives of a little girl named Chihiro Ogino, and a few other figures like Haku which is a boy she finds as she is looking for help. Help from what you ask? Well, she and her parents are on their way to a new move when they suddenly get lost as they drive to a new town that they are relocating to. As they struggle to find out where they are, they stumble upon an abandoned amusement park. When they encounter a big pile of food, her parents start ravaging the food and literally turn into pigs. Once this happens Chihiro knows that she is in some kind of magical place and she needs to find a way out fast. I like the storyline and I can’t wait to see the movie; for now though, I will teach you "how to draw Chihiro", step by step using a neatly drawn tutorial layout, and some easy to read instructions. Let me know what you think when you have finished the drawing. Peace out people and have fun.
