Step 1.

Start with some guides for the head and body.

Define the shape of the face and proceed to step three.

Draw in Joy's hairstyle which is short and a bit messy.

We will now use the facial guidelines to draw in the shapes of the eyes, color in the pupils and then draw the nose and excited mouth.

Draw in Joy's body which also happens to be her one piece dress.

Lastly, draw in her arms and legs and then erase the guidelines, shapes and mistakes.

Your drawing is done and ready for some color. I hope you enjoyed drawing chibi Joy.

She is the human girl that the movie is based around and the one who has all the thoughts/emotions up on screen. This was really fun to create and I think she came out looking awesome.
