How to Draw Chibi Hershel from the Walking Dead

Step 1.


Make the circle for the head guide, then draw in the guidelines for the face, arms and body.

Step 2.


Next, begin sketching out the hair the frames out Hershel's face. This is his hair and mustache for now.

Step 3.


Add some forehead wrinkles then draw the thick eyebrows as well as color them in. When that is done draw the large chibi shapes of Hershel's eyes, then add some bags or wrinkles under the eyes.

Step 4.


Here you will draw in Hershel's hairstyle which is combed back, then finish drawing the beard. Add the mouth and ears, then a little detailing to his hair.

Step 5.


Hershel will be hanging on to his crotches. So you will need to draw the stubby arms and his hands in fists. Add some detailing to his clothing or sleeves, then proceed to step six.

Step 6.


All you have to do here is draw the chest/belly, then draw in the crotches.

Step 7.


Add Hershel's suspenders, and the line that is vertically places down his shirt.

Step 8.


For the last step all you have to do is draw in Hershel's legs, right foot or boot, then the indents for the pockets. Since Hershel is missing his left or right foot, you will leave that space empty. Erase the mistakes and all the guidelines.

Step 9.


That's it, here is Hershel when you are all done drawing him out in chibi form. Color in your art and that's all there is to it.

Description: Yes it's true that Hershel is no longer on The Walking Dead because he was beheaded by The Governor with Michonne's sword in the 4th season of the Waling Dead. Now because it was such a shock to me on how they killed Hershel off, I just had to go and make a chibi version of him looking as he did before he met his demise. Having said that, here is how to draw chibi Hershel, step by step. I love how he came out, I think he looks like his old self as a chibi. The hair, beard, facial expression, clothes, everything is just on point or at least to me it is. Anyways, go ahead and have some fun and remember that there is still one more chibi Walking Dead figure I have to upload. Can you guess who it is?
