How to Draw Chibi Daryl

Start off with a chibi style head shape like so, then draw the body guide. When that is done you can sketch in the facial guidelines.

Define the shape of chibi Daryl's face, then draw in the hairstyle bangs only and some hair on the sides of the face.

Next, use the facial guidelines to draw the large bold eyes with a mean or angry look. Add the bags under his eyes, then draw the mouth, mustache and beard.

Complete the head shape and hairstyle. Add a part down the middle of his head and draw in some ears.

Now that chibi Daryl's face is all done, you can get started with the body. Draw the arms which are sort of in a cupping pose, then draw the hands or thumbs.

Begin drawing the beginning shapes to form Daryl's crossbow and don't forget to include the arrow.

Finish the crossbow by drawing the curved part of the bow, then add the pulleys and wheels. Detail the wheels, then proceed to step eight.

Up next, finish drawing chibi Daryl's torso and don't forget to add that leather vest that he wears.

This is the last drawing step. As you can see you will need to draw in his legs or pants, then the shoes of boots. Add detailing to his pants, and be sure to draw the legs in an action pose. Erase the mistakes and the guidelines/shapes.

That's it, you are all done. Time to color in this chibi version of Daryl Dixon.

Description: You didn't think I was going to leave a lesson on "how to draw chibi Daryl Dixon" undone did you? I know there is a tut on a chibi Daryl, but it wasn't made by me so it doesn't match the wallpaper theme for the image on the site that takes viewers to all the lessons on Walking Dead characters. I had a lot of fun with making this tut, and I know there are plenty of people that love Daryl Dixon. I think I came close to making him look like he does in regular form with the hairstyle, clothing and let's not forget the crossbow. Anyways, enjoy yourselves and remember to tune in to AMC on October 12th for the first episode of season 5. Peace out folks and have fun.
