How to Draw Candor from Divergent

Step 1.


Begin by making a small circle, a stem or shaft, then the shape of the base for your scale.

Step 2.


Next, you will draw in the arms which stretch across the paper like so. They are curved slightly and in the center there is a pointed spear like tip.

Step 3.


You will now draw the shaft of the balance scale. This shaft is also known as justice. The base should be wide and flat.

Step 4.


You will now draw the bowls for each scale like so, and instead of attaching them to their rope, just draw the cups first.

Step 5.


Lastly, draw the chains for the balance scales or bowls like so. They should be attached to the arm, and then the bowls. Erase the mistakes or guides.

Step 6.


Here is your Candor symbol when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and add some color.

Up next, we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw Candor", step by step. The faction Candor was formed by a group of people who believe that duplicity and deception are the reasons for human nature's faults. Their symbol is that of a balance scale, and the scale is actually the perfect symbol for them because Candor's believe in and value honesty. Drawing scales shouldn't be too hard so I'm pretty confident that you will all do a great job. If you like the Divergent book series you should love this lesson. Adios amigos and have fun.
