How to Draw Blob

Artist: Dawn / August 10, 2010

Step 1.

Before we begin drawing a blob, I wanted to show you some different types of expressions that you can choose from to draw on your blob. Take a peak and make your choice.

Step 2.

Draw a large circle for the complete shape of your blob, and then add the facial guidelines.

Step 3.

Now thicken the head lining like you see here, and then begin drawing out the shapes of this cat blobs ears.

Step 4.

Now, cap off this blobs body like you see here, and then add a nose and some cute lips or jowls. Next add some triangular arms.

Step 5.

For your last step, draw in the expression of your choice, for me I chose to draw a simple expression that conveys a friendly blob. Draw out the eyes, and eyebrows, and color them in. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

Step 6.

Here is how your adorable little blob looks when you are all done. Color it in and you can move onto something new.

Description: Well, I'm almost at a loss for words because this next character tutorial is not something you can really describe. You may have seen this itty bitty character on the web, as for me I found out about this creation when I typed in cat, and by some freak of nature, I stumbled upon a blob. This lesson is going to show you "how to draw blob", step by step. These characters can be drawn to look like any type of animal in a blob form. You can color different shades, and remember when you draw your own version of a blob, be sure not to include legs or feet. They almost look like Hershey Kisses. I drew my blob to resemble a cat because cats or felines are one of the cutest, and fierce looking animals in the world. Anyway, I guess that does it for this description, all I can say to you now is, have fun teaching yourself "how to draw a blob" of your choice. Peace out people, and have a happy drawing day!
