How to Draw Baloo

Drawing Baloo is going to be easy. Start by making a couple shapes. The first is for his head, and the other oblong shape is for his bear body. Draw one vertical guideline through the face, and this same line is going to be used for the neck guide.

Using the head shape you just drew, begin sketching out Baloo's snout, and then draw the forehead, hair, and then his ears. Notice that he is smiling.

Continue to sketch out Baloo's face by drawing the right side of the jaw. When that is done you will need too draw the bottom of the mouth which is also the jaw. Next, draw the large nose tip like so as well as some whisker holes. Lastly, draw Baloo'

Draw the neck shape like so, and then draw Baloo's shoulders, arms, claws, and big round body. Notice how his butt is sticking out.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw Baloo's legs, and then draw in his feet and long toe nails. Don't forget his tail, as well as the marking line around the belly. Clean up the drawing and that is that.

Baloo is now all done. You can start coloring him in to add some vividness to this sloth bear.

Description: How many times have you watched Disney’s version of ‘The Jungle Book’? Well, for me I have watched it more than a few times and every time I decide to pop the DVD in the player, I always ready myself for fun and laughter. I was looking through the cartoon section to see how many characters I have for lessons from the film. I found that even though I have Mowgli and Bagheera, I failed to make a tutorial on Baloo. So here it is, my personal way that I draw Baloo in a step by step lesson. Baloo the bear is one of my favorite characters. He is one hundred percent lovable, playful, and irresponsible. Nonetheless, Baloo is still a funny addition that Mowgli loves very much. When I first watched the film I wasn’t sure what type of bear Baloo was. After questioning myself for a long period of time I finally had to go and search for myself to find out what type of bear he was. Found out that Baloo is a sloth bear, and these bears have long claws, and very big appetites. Anyways, this lesson is going to be easy enough for anyone to tackle so go ahead and have fun drawing Baloo, I’m sure you won’t be sorry. I will be back soon so try and stay tuned.
