Begin with two shapes or guides. One for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Starting on the left side draw in the left side of the face which is jagged lined cheeks and straight lined head and ear.

Repeat the same exact thing you did on the left, to the right. When that is done sketch in the crinkle and wrinkles on the face. This will give Baloo his realism as a bear.

Okay, we will now draw the snout and then the mouth. When that is done you can draw the teeth and the gum line.

Draw in Baloo's face and then draw the nose, more crinkles on the nose, and finally the fluff detailing to the face.

Finally, draw the hump for both shoulders and back. When That is done draw the front legs and chest. Add more hair definition and erase the mistakes and guides.

That's it, this is the line art. Color in Baloo and you can show off the drawing.

Description: Okay, so this is the last character from the new Jungle Book that I will upload. I suppose we have a couple lessons on how to draw Baloo here at Dragoart, but none of them resemble Baloo as he looks in his realistic form in the upcoming Jungle Book. So, here he is now and I hope you enjoy drawing Baloo close to what he looks like in The Jungle Book 2016.
