How to Draw Anime Pennywise

This is a very long lesson because it is a very detailed one. Start by drawing the basic guides and shapes for Pennywise's face.

Using the facial guides go ahead and draw the shape of the face structure which is very bold.

Once you have the lower structure of Pennywise's face sketched or drawn out, you can proceed to work on the top half which begins with the left temple and brow, then proceeded to the left side forehead. Once that task is done, you can begin drawing o

Here you will finish the eyes by drawing the actual pupil and iris, then draw in the clown lines vertically through the eyes.

Draw out the smile almost from ear to ear.

Begin drawing anime Pennywise's teeth which should be in a pointed shape. Add more definition to the mouth as well.

Here all you have to do is draw the bottom lip shape.

Add shading behind and under the top row of teeth.

Sketch in the crease and folds to the forehead to add texture and definition of character.

Now we will draw anime pennywise hair. Draw the outline of the style first and then sketch in the hair strands and texture.

Draw the rest of the hair on the left side too. In an anime hair drawing style.

Now that anime pennywise face is done being drawn, you can work on the collar which is ruffled and comical like.

Add another layer to the ruffled collar in a much larger shape.

Repeat the same task by adding yet another layer to the ruffled collar.

This is the last ruffled collar layer you will have to draw. When that is done you can sketch in the detailing for the arm which is actually the sleeve to the clown suit.

Add the ruffle detailing which will turn a simple ruffle into a series of ruffled ribbons.

Sketch in the anime ear drawing style to Pennywise's ear.

Lastly, you will fill that awkward empty space to the right with balloons and string.

Once you erase the guidelines, shapes and all the mistakes, you should have a finished piece like the one you see here.

Description: Okay guys, I don't know how many of you know this, but there is an anime version of Pennywise or IT coming out and I wanted to be one of the first to upload a lesson on how to draw anime Pennywise, step by step. I knew something like this was going to happen eventually because Pennywise 2019 is one of the best characters made to date. Even though he is a remake of the original Pennywise plated by Tim Curry, the new one is just as good if not better than the original. I do hope you guys enjoy this lesson on drawing anime Pennywise. I will be back with some requested lessons in a bit so stay tuned in.
