Okay very simple first step here. Draw a big circle and then add a vertical line down the middle. You will then draw a smaller circle as you see here and then add the facial guidelines.

Step 2.
Now you will start sketching out the shape of the Indians face which is long, squared and narrow. Draw the shape of the Indian nose and then draw the eye and eyebrow lines.

Step 3.
Sketch out the parted hair style that sits under the headdress band and then draw out the wise eyes. Add some bag lines and then draw out the mouth in more detail. You will draw two braids and then the feathers on th ends. Next draw out the band for

Step 5.
This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is sketch in some detailing to the feathers and then detail inside of the ears. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and move to the next step.

Description:
Here is a really cool tutorial that I drew live yesterday on “how to draw an Indian face step by step”. I already have an Indian chief tutorial but that was done when the site first got started and needless to say it really wasn’t that good. This Indian chief face is way more cleaner and then headdress is more detailed. I love the way this random drawing came out and to tell you the truth, it was initially going to be a lion face but for some reason it turned into this awesome Indian head that you see here. The colors are awesome and the headdress is superb as well. I love the way he looks old and wise and how he also looks like he is ready to say “how”. The Native American culture is probably one of the peaceful around. I have much respect for these people because they were the very first ones to live on the lands and only use what they needed to survive. This tutorial will show you "how to draw an Indian face" step by step. I think he looks classic and hopefully you guys will learn something new from this here tutorial. Peace out and have a great day!
