How to Draw a Woman
1
To start let's draw a circle for the woman's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a neck line and attach it to the body's line of motion.
2
Use the head guide to sketch out the facial structure of this woman's face. When that is done draw in her hairline and move to step three.
3
Add more chunks of hair in a layered motion. The hair should be rough but soft looking so be sure that the hair is detailed for texture.
4
Simply use the facial guidelines to draw in her face. This includes the eyebrows, shapes of her eyes, her nose and mouth.
5
Cap off the head shape by drawing more of her hairstyle. Draw the neck shape and then sketch in the strand guidelines.
6
You will now focus on drawing her upper body which is the chest, shoulders, and then her shirt lining. Detail her shirt, and add detailing to the base of her neck.
7
Draw the woman's shoulders and long arms. When that is done draw in the rest of her shirt and be sure not to go too long with the shirt because some of the belly needs to be exposed.
8
Add detailing to her shirt, then draw the shape of her waist and belly. Add her pant line for the waist.
9
Draw in the rest of the hair in length, then draw the belt, and thigh for her leg as she is sitting down.
10
Draw her other upper leg, then draw her feet and loose socks. Add the seam lines down the sides of her jeans and detail her socks. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.

Description: Hey guys I’m back today with another tutorial submission on a human figure. I was supposed to submit this lesson yesterday but again, I forgot all about it. I want to show you “how to draw a woman", step by step. I already have a few lessons that I submitted earlier this month and last month that taught you "how to draw a woman’s body", and "how to draw a woman’s face". I wanted this female character to be sitting in a popular position that is commonly seen when looking at female portrait art. The drawing itself was a bit complicated because I had to make her body look normal and symmetrical. I drew this woman live and I had a fun time with you guys when I did. Drawing people, and other human figures is kind of addicting. The more bodies I draw, the more I want to keep drawing pretty woman and attractive men. I am working really hard to improve my drawing skills when it comes to drawing people in a visually stimulating way. I think I am pretty good at drawing anime/manga people, now I have to get good at drawing human beings better. The road is long, but I know I will eventually get there. I really like the way this female figure came out. She is sitting on her side with her legs behind her, and she is also posing nude. The reason why I draw nude people is because I would rather have my fellow artists draw the type of clothes you would like to see these characters in whether it be a manga, anime, or human form. I still have more manga drawing that I will be submitting over the coarse of a few days. I promise there is other cool lessons on the way as well. For now you can tackle this tutorial that shows you “how to draw a woman”. I will be back again, so be patient, and have fun drawing!
