Step 1.
The first thing we need to do is draw out the guides. Do this by making the round end then draw the crooked design of the broom handle.

Step 2.
Begin sketching out the shape of the broom bristles like so. As I mentioned in the description, you can make the ends of the broom straight lined if you wish, I went with a design that looks like an old broom.

Step 3.
Using the stem line that you made as your guide, draw out the broom stick like so. A witch's broom should look as messed up as a witch. So instead of a wart, this broom has some notches and crooked grooves.

Step 4.
Next, draw in the strings that hold the bristles together on the broom. There is one at the neck of the broom, and there is one at the bottom part of the bristles. Sketch in some bristle detailing like so as well.

Step 5.
Lastly, draw a magical swirl to make the broom look like it's about to be used. When you start erasing the mistakes, you can then add some sparkles if you want to make the effects looks more genuine.

Step 6.
When all is said and done, your witch broom comes out looking fantastic like the one you see here. All it needs now is some color, and maybe a witch.

how to draw witches
Description:
Hey all, I’m back and yes I know that was quick. These lessons have been sitting in my folder since yesterday so their already done. All I’m doing is preparing them for submission. Here is another Halloween related lesson that will have you flying through the air. How’s about we learn "
how to draw a witch broom
", step by step. This is another item that was requested by my sister so of course I had to fill it. The broom is a simple concept that can be tweaked to look like anything you desire. If you want a flat lined bristle style broom, you can do that by drawing straight lines at the ends of the broom instead of the pointed tips. You can also include some sparkles around the magical swirl that is going through the broom as well. There is so many ways you can add your own personal touches to the broom, all you have to do is conjure up the ideas. Consider this lesson just a base idea for you to let your mind go crazy. Anyways, enjoy drawing a witch broom and I will prepare the other lessons I have for you all. Peace out people!
