How to Draw a Witch for Kids

1

Side profile drawings or lessons are always a lot easier to follow and replicate. Start with a circle for the head, and then draw a guideline for the body and be sure to make the knee bend up a bit.

2

Now all you have to do is draw out the simple, sharp pointed hat like so, and then move along to step two.

3

Next, draw out the shape of the witches face and since she is from a side view, the nose and ear are the only things that needs to be drawn in.

4

For this step all you need to do is draw out the large eye. Start the eye by drawing a straight lid line, and then draw a crescent shape for the eye itself. Add an eyeball, and then draw out the mouth, teeth, and tongue. Don't forget to add the warts

5

Draw the witches hairdo which is only two swoops, and as you can see there is sharp points and some dips.

6

Draw out the arms and sleeves like so, and then draw in the hands and broom stick. Also, add some warts on her hand too for added grossness.

7

Continue to draw out the witches body which is covered in a dress. Draw the rest of the broom, and then draw in the broom brush. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then erase the guides you made in the previous step.

8

This is the end of the drawing tutorial, and as you can see you now have yourself a simple looking witch that was super easy to draw. Great work people.

Description: Well, here is my final lesson for the day and to keep the momentum going for Halloween, I've decided that a good tutorial on "how to draw a witch for kids", step by step would do just right. To keep things simple I chose to make a witch flying on a broom, but her body profile will be from the side. I find that drawing things from the side view is a whole lot easier no matter if it’s people, objects, or animals. I do have a few witches as lessons already, but as you know the tutorials that I made in the past are kind of difficult to replicate. Nowadays, my drawing skills have gotten better, and because of this I am able to provide better quality lessons that the members and visitors who come to Dragoart are able to get their favorite objects, animals, characters, cartoons, or people drawn the way that they see it on the site. Well, I guess that’s pretty much all I have to say, I will let you get busy as you follow this submission to drawing a witch for kids. I may or may not return, it all depends on how I feel. Adios people, and have fun!
