1

Simple enough lesson when it comes to drawing the viperfish. Start with a circle for the head of the fish and then the guidelines for the body.

2

Draw the top portion of the head like you see here and some of the top part of the back.

3

Draw out the shape of the eye and then the hinged jaw structure along with the razor sharp needle style teeth. Add detailing as well for texture.

4

Draw the eel like body and notice how it flows. Draw in the dorsal fin and tail fin.

5

lastly, the pectoral fin needs to be added as well as the end fins on the tail. Creating rib detailing and erase the mistakes and guides.

6

The viperfish should look like the one you see here. Color in this evil looking fish species before showing off the work.

Description: It's now time to make some lessons on a couple of fish species that you may or may not have heard of before. I will start with one of two really ugly fish, but this fish is somewhat sinister looking. Today we will learn how to draw a viperfish, step by step. What is a viperfish you ask? Well, a viperfish are long fish that have needle-like teeth and hinged lower jaws and can grow to be anywhere between eleven to twenty four inches in length. They live deep in the sea and are extremely ugly and a bit scary looking. I don't think I had this much fun recently drawing a fish species than I did with this viperfish drawing. If you love drawing fish, you will definitely take a liking to drawing a viperfish.
