How to Draw a Chibi Na'Vi

Make the guidelines and shapes for the head and body of your na'vi.

Next, use the facial guidelines to draw out the shapes of the eyes which are U in shape and large in size.

Next up, draw out the large ears and add detailing inside the ears.

Okay, now you can draw the combed back style of hair and make sure to add the detailing lines for the hair. WHen that is done draw the shape of the face as well.

We will now work on the body starting with the arms and hands. Notice he is holding a rope of sorts and there is an arm band as well. Sketch in detailing to the end of the rope or whip and then draw out the beginnings of the feet.

Finish up the body and draw the rest of the rope or whip. Add detailing and definition to the clothes.

All you have to do here is draw and color in the stripes. Erase the mistakes or the guides and you're done.

When you are finished, the chibi na'vi drawing you just did should look like the one you see here. Good job!

Description: I know I have a lesson on how to draw a chibi Avatar, but these blue people from James Cameron's movie are not called Avatars at all, but Na'Vis. They live on the planet Pandora and are of blue color in skin and have a cat like appearance. I love the way this lesson came out and maybe you will too. So, having said that here is how to draw a chibi Na'vi, step by step. I had a lot of fun making this character because the last one I did was a female. So this time you will draw a male Na'vi.
