How to Draw a Thorn Heart

Step 1.


Using a squiggle line pattern, you will need to start from the middle, and work your way out until you have a heart formed. The lining should contain waves for the crooked effect of the vine.

Step 2.


You will now thicken the vine by drawing a duplicate line pattern and again, start from the middle.

Step 3.


Finally, draw the thorns all over the heart swirled vine like so. The shouldn't be pointing in the same direction, make them so they are different in sizes and position. If you made mistakes, just erase them now.

Step 4.


Here is the line art now you can color in your work. I hope you all enjoyed this lesson on drawing a thorn heart.

Description: Here is one of my favorite lessons that I made last night and I think it's because the concept is so cool. I have drawn a couple thorn hearts in my day but none that where actually made from a thorn vine. Up next, I will show you how simple it's going to be to draw a thorn heart, step by step. All the lesson consists of is a thorn vine swirled into a heart. The actual thorns are part of the vine so you don't have to worry about details that are too complex.
