Step 1.

Make a heart as big or as small as you want it.

Step 2.

If you just want to draw this general looking dog heart, make the floppy ears like so.

Step 3.

Draw and color in the eyes. Of course if you draw a specific breed make the eyes match the characteristics of chosen dog.

Step 4.

Lastly, draw and color in the nose, make the brows, then draw the lips and whisker holes.

Step 5.

Mistakes are easy to erase so go ahead and do it now. Color in your puppy heart to your liking.

Description: Last but not least, here is my final animal heart concept. As you can see this lesson is going to be on drawing a puppy or dog heart. I am frequently around dogs as my family owns four German Shepherds. I should have actually did a German Shepherd puppy concept but I wanted things to stay simple. Drawing a dog or puppy heart is pretty easy. You will follow the same rules as the other heart lessons except for this dog, you have the option to make any breed of dog you like. You can make a Shih Tzu, Poodle, Pug, Boxer, Great Dane, Retriever, or any other breed. This is just a depiction of a general dog/puppy.
